Ghosts And Spirits
 Ghosts First of all, spirits of those who have left this mortal coil are very much aware and cognizant of their world. The spirit retains all of the sensibilities and emotions they had with a corporeal body, a ghost, however does not. Spirits are quite able to continue living a full existence in the dimension of spirit with mental and emotional facilities completely intact. Ghosts, however, do not. Ghosts are a bit like a tape recording. They seem to be images from the past replaying themselves over and over again. Many times when people encounter ghosts it can be a frightening experience, but remember, they can not harm you. Ghosts are completely unaware of your existence and will not interact with you. Spirits, on the other hand, seem to be capable of going between this world and the spirit world. Many times they will visit loved ones for whatever reason. Sometimes their appearance might be in the form of what is know as an “ectoplasmic mist”, or even a full bodied apparitions that looks just as solid as a corporeal person. Many cultures believe that we have spirits guides assigned to watch over and guide us. Depending on the particular culture or belief system this spirit guide can take the form of one's ancestors or a particular animal, such as a raven, rabbit, wolf, etc. Whatever the belief a person may have there is one thing that seems to be a fact—we do not die when the body dies. We continue on...and where we go after our body dies seems to be a decision that it solely up to the individual. Perhaps, when all is said and done, we make our own heaven or hell--and what we dream of in this life time is what we have in the next.
